This could be you: flying from your living room.
The club has a VR flight simulator rig that members can borrow and set up at home. Between flying days at Birch Hills, you can practise the circuit, rehearse your checks, and get comfortable in the cockpit, so your lessons in the real glider build on each other instead of starting over. Gliding skills fade between visits, and the rig is one way to keep them warm without a trip to the field.
It is part of how the club trains: free instruction at the field, and homework that is actually fun. New to gliding? See how learning to fly works, then come out and try the real thing.
